Private landowners who own a camera trap(s) and need assistance with selecting a suitable location and properly setting up the camera can potentially arrange a field day with a qualified CLT team member to help with this endeavour.

Camera trapping can be a hit-and-miss affair, and we encourage private landowners to experiment with different locations and set ups for the camera traps – especially following the advice in our Camera Trapping 101 quick guide. However, if you would like some professional guidance where a CLT team member visits your property and physically assists with site selection and camera setup, this may be a possibility.

Please note the following:

The property must be located within a 150 km / 2 hour drive time radius from Paarl or Hermanus
A mutually suitable date will depend on the availability of a CLT team member
The landowner must provide all their own camera equipment (including poles, batteries, memory cards and cable ties)
The price includes travel, time, and a donation to the CLT.
