Camera traps are the most valuable tool in our research toolkit for monitoring the Cape's elusive felines, and each of our surveys utilises at least 130 camera units. However, camera traps don’t last forever and need to be replaced every few years, placing a continuous burden on our research budgets. By financing the cost of a camera trap (which includes the metal safety box, SD card, batteries and other hardware to keep the camera operational) you can help us to keep our fleet in top condition, ensuring the best results from our large-scale surveys.
You will receive a ‘Camera trap patron’ certificate to confirm that you have made this contribution to our research efforts.
